I’ll add one – when you’re sick of the Eiffel Tower or Louvre, you can audit a class at Cordon Blu. You’ll sit in a room filled with future celebrity chefs from around the world.

    Thanks for the comment. I got to live in the Rhinebeck area over the went and really traveled around, despite the cold. I couldn’t believe how beautiful Rip’s old spot was — or that nothing marked it for its connection to the Irving story. No sign, nothing. Simply amazing views.
